Vincent Concialdi

Executive summary

Vince Concialdi is a partner in the Business Advisory Services practice of the Chicago office. He has more than 20 years of auditing, consulting and industry experience, including 13 years with Grant Thornton, and is a business process and controls expert.

Concialdi began his career as an external auditor with Arthur Andersen. He later joined a development stage enterprise in the telecommunications industry as a project manager, where he was involved in process design and re-engineering, system implementation, testing, and conversion for a billing system and an inventory system.

During his tenure at Grant Thornton, Concialdi has been very involved in numerous controls projects performing governance, risk and compliance services and service auditor’s reports. He has managed several projects exceeding 10,000 annual hours. Concialdi currently leads many internal audit and service organization control projects for a wide array of businesses. His responsibilities also include quality assurance and the development and training for Chicago’s Business Advisory Services practice. Concialdi has also worked with the national practice quality review team to review third-party attestations for compliance with firm and professional standards. He has publicly spoken on many topics related to internal controls and governance, and he is the Midwest representative of the national Grant Thornton service auditor’s report solution group.
