Dennis Bell

Executive summary

Dennis is a partner and the Attest Services leader for Grant Thornton's business risk services practice. He serves as a member of the firm’s National Special Attestations Reporting Task Force, and also provides leadership in the Healthcare Services sub-segment in the Philadelphia office. He has over 24 years of business, process, and technology risk advisory experience in serving scores of clients from both an internal and external audit capacity. Dennis’ experience also includes performing dozens of hands-on engagements pertaining to compliance with Sarbanes Oxley, SSAE 16 and other compliance initiatives.

Dennis has 24 years of client service experience in the public accounting sector with Grant Thornton and another Big Four firm, leading and providing risk-related services in areas such as SSAE 16 attestation procedures, Sarbanes-Oxley advisory services, Model Audit Rule, outsourced internal auditing services, external audit support, technology auditing and risk management. He has broad industry knowledge and is an expert in internal control, IT risk management, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and SOC Reporting.

Dennis’ extensive internal and external audit experience, combined with his strong technical skills, provides clients with focused perspectives on relevant risks and controls.
